More Than a Machine Shop — A Legacy of Expertise
MI-TECH, Inc. was founded in 1985 by Bill Totten and fellow General Electric field service supervisors with one goal: to deliver unmatched service in marine and industrial machinery support. Today, we remain one of the few manual machine shops on the East Coast, combining old-school precision with modern project management.
We operate out of a 15,000-square-foot facility equipped with high-capacity lifting, centrifugal casting, and QA instrumentation—staffed by some of the most experienced manual machinists in the business. Our clients are industry leaders, who trust us to keep their turbines, engines, and equipment running within budget and on time.
